here now in the knowing the spirit finds a way
in the quiet of the fading light
the dawning of the day
the heaving crests of the waters breast
spills its blood upon the land
and in this way the pact they've made
lives on as it began

the children of creation thrive on this place they call home
the whole earth offers up itself and through it they are free

and to treasure every moment

it's all that this beautiful world
for them could ever be
