A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away....

Well, actually, in Toronto, Canada in 1995, songwriters Tim Foley
and Stephanie Sheri formed "Urban Circle"- a band with an
eclectic mix of grooves, big guitars, piano, and harmonies.
In '97 they released their independant debut EP "Progress",
and spent the next year performing their brand of
recombinant rock and promoting to press and campus radio
across Canada.

In the fall of '98 writing began for their next release,
this time
with drummer Charlie Morgan (Elton John, Paul McCartney,
Tina Turner etc..but that's another story) behind the
drumkit. The band chose the home recording route, cashing in
what was left of their savings, and renting the required gear
from local music stores. In early '99, PAN OUT NOW holed up at
the Digital Dominion (read Steph's apartment) to
record and mix "Strange Tales From the Urban Circle".

In keeping with their D.I.Y. philosophy, the band set out to
reach the masses using the internet as their primary tool.
During the fall of 2000, PAN OUT NOW
(known then as iO - another other story) gained the interest
of radio stations, magazines and websites
in Europe, the USA and Australia, especially for radio favourites
'Satellite', 'Here Now In The Knowing', 'Chronomes', and 'Reverie'.

In 2003 PAN OUT NOW records a CD single,
featuring new tracks 'Decline', 'Hello, Open Road' and 'South Drive'
This is followed up by plenty of gigging throughout Southern Ontario, and
into New York state, including a stop at CBGB's in New York city,

In the fall of 2006, the band releases their "Aspirate" EP,
and continues to hone and craft their live show, garnering
critical acclaim for their work as writers and performers,
and in the process gaining legions of adoring fans
on both sides of the 49th parallel.
